Fashion Police host Joan Rivers has defiantly milked the Oscar Pistorius murder trial further.

On the most recent episode of the E! Entertainment show, Rivers was rating US singer Christina Aguilera's eclectic hairstyle featuring blonde hair with bright red braids and hair extensions at the VH1 Music Awards as one of her must-see looks of the year 2000, according to a Channel 24 report. She dubbed Aguilera’s creation "the triple crown of skank do's".

But the acid-tongued comedienne took it to a more shocking level, stating: "The last time I saw a blonde with red streaks in her hair she was laying on Oscar Pistorius' bathroom floor."

This is not the first time the 81-year-old has made a shameless quip about the Oscar Pistorius murder trial and the death of Reeva Steenkamp.

In April, Rivers slammed singer and dancer Cat Graham’s outfit by saying: “Cat’s outfit is so terrible on the scale of really bad ideas, it falls between marrying Charlie Sheen and using Oscar Pistorius’s bathroom.”

But the audience really shouldn’t have been too surprised because earlier that month, Rivers made Pistorius the butt of a similar fashion joke, saying of Hollywood celebrity Garcelle Beauvais’s shoes, “The footwear! I have not seen footwear this f***** up since Oscar Pistorius wobbled to the witness stand.”

Rivers has apparently harboured this grudge against Pistorius since he was charged with premeditated murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine’s Day last year. On February 16 last year, Rivers tweeted: “Been reading about the murder charges facing Oscar Pistorius. I hope it doesn’t make it to trial… he doesn’t have a leg to stand on.”

The tweet received thousands of retweets and hundreds of favourites. - IOL and Bang Showbiz
