Now David Hasselhoff has officially changed his name to David Hoff.
The former Baywatch actor claims he has wanted to make the change for years and is overjoyed that it is now official.
Announcing his new moniker in a YouTube video, David said: “I’ve been wanting to drop the Hassel from my life for years. Now I have made it official.”
The 63-year-old star, who showed off framed documents bearing his new surname, says he is feeling “great” thanks to his shortened name.
