Bobby Brown is setting up a centre for women affected by domestic violence in memory of his daughter Bobbi Kristina.

The 22-year-old aspiring singer died in July, six months after being found unresponsive in the bathtub at the Atlanta home she shared with her boyfriend Nick Gordon, who has been accused by Bobbi's conservator of physically abusing her.

And Bobby, 46, who banned Nick from his daughter's funeral, revealed that he is busy working on creating Bobbi Kristina Serenity House, which will serve as a "safe haven, emergency centre and advocacy resource centre for women affected by Domestic Violence".

Speaking on the premiere episode of 'The Real', he explained: "It's a place that I'm building - that we're just starting to build - that I feel is needed. Because if I could have been there two days before anything happened to my daughter, it wouldn't have went down like that."

While Bobby has not publicly blamed Nick, 24, - who has denied all allegations - he added: "I mean I'm not going to call anybody out, but I really want to just tell the DA of Atlanta, Georgia that he needs to look closely into the investigation that's going on that caused my daughter to pass."

Bobby also revealed that welcoming a baby daughter, Bodhi Jameson Rein, with wife Alicia Etheredge, just before Bobbi Kristina's death in July was a blessing.

He said: "It's an everyday process. It's not easy at all. God was gracious enough to give me a baby girl in the last two months, you know, after losing one."

Bobbi Kristina's mother Whitney Houston died in similar circumstances in 2012, when she was also found unresponsive in a bathtub and Bobby admitted the past few years have taken a toll on him.

He said: "I mean after losing my mom, my dad, my ex-wife, my daughter in the last six years ... the only thing I had to lean on was Alicia. She's probably tired of me leaning on her, but she's held me up and she's got my back - and you know anytime I need to lean to the side or lean forward, you know she's right there."
