London - Rihanna has flown back to Barbados to be with her mother following the death of her grandmother.
The We Found Love hitmaker was left devastated by the passing of Clara 'Dolly' Braithwaite over the weekend and has jetted back to her home country to spend time with her family.
She tweeted a picture of herself about to board a private plane and accompanied the shot with the caption: “Coming home to squeeze ya mama. (sic)”
Rihanna's decision to fly home came after she pulled out of the Rock In Rio festival.
The S&M singer was due to perform at the event in Madrid, Spain, on Thursday, but cancelled her headline appearance following the death of her beloved grandmother.
Organisers of the festival confirmed they are trying to book a replacement for the grieving star but are also offering fans refunds.
Her performance at this weekend's Wireless Festival in London's Hyde Park is still scheduled to go ahead. - Bang Showbiz
