Rihanna doesn’t like to be in charge in her relationships.

The ‘Rude Boy’ singer feels like she has to be in control all the time in her professional life so when it comes to her personal life she prefers when the man takes charge.

She told America's GQ magazine: “I like to feel like a woman

“I have to be in control in every other aspect of my life, so I feel like in a relationship, I wanted to be able to take a step back and have somebody else take the lead.

“I could absolutely be dominant, but in general, I'd rather... How do I say this in, like, a non-X rated version?

“Love makes you go places you probably wouldn't ever go, had it not been for love. But I think everybody still has their limits.”

Rihanna recently revealed she and Chris Brown – who is still on probation for beating her up in 2009 – have called off their relationship following a brief reconciliation.

When asked whether she is still dating the 'Turn Up the Music' singer, the 24-year-old popstar said "No. Not together.

"Basically [it's] the way I look at everything regarding my personal life. Even though you have to witness it, it still is mine. This is mine at this point, and when it gets to my music, I'll give and I'll give, and I just feel like I need to keep a little bit for me that I get to decide. If I had it my way, it would be really nobody's business."
