He scores goals for fun in the colours of Real Madrid, but it appears as though Christiano Ronaldo has two left feet on the virtual playing field. This much was evident when the highly-paid Portuguese international accidently mailed racy pictures sent to him by a fan to everyone in his address book. According to the Daily Mail, the 26-year-old Ronaldo even forwarded the snaps to his fiance Irina Shayk.
The pictures came courtesy of a Dutch fan who reportedly told Ronaldo she wanted to be with him. The images show a very attractive female posing semi-naked. In some of the pictures, she dons a T-shirt bearing the words “too hot to handle”.
According to a source close to the footballer, Ronaldo tried to delete the images and hit the forward button by mistake.
“Cristiano’s phone has been buzzing with calls and emails from bewildered pals in the past few days,” said the source.
“They have all been ringing and messaging to ask what the hell the email is about. And of course they all want to know more about the girl in the pictures.
“He’s had to explain she is just a fan who had sent him some pictures and that he made a mistake by sending them on instead of removing them. He is embarrassed about the whole thing and is particularly mortified at passing the email on to Irina.
“But he has done nothing wrong and luckily Irina hasn’t confronted him about it.”
Ronaldo and Irina have been an item since April last year. They plan to marry in July next year, after the Euro 2012 tournament. According to the source, Irina understands that women will always be vying for Ronaldo’s attention.
“Wherever Cristiano goes in the world he gets women throwing themselves at him. And Irina knows dealing with other girls vying for his affection goes with the territory of being on the arm of a footballer like Cristiano.
“He is a bit red-faced about the whole thing and certainly won’t make the same mistake again.” - IOL
