On screen, Sandra Bullock always plays it prim and proper. But in real life, she just can’t resist bad boys.
After divorcing reality TV star Jesse James in 2013 after it was revealed that he had cheated on her with a string of women, Bullock is now said to be smitten with ruggedly handsome photographer Bryan Randall.
According to Grazia magazine, Randall makes the Oscar-winning actress feel “safe” after a stalker broke into her home last year.
“They've been trying to take things slowly, and at first Sandra was reluctant to refer to him as her boyfriend, but it's become clear that they're absolutely besotted with each other,” said a source.
“She feels safe with him and there's a lot of obvious chemistry. Bryan couldn't be more different from Sandra's ex.”
But that last statement isn’t entirely true. Randall has a lengthy rap sheet, one which earned him the nickname “bandit” and seems to have serious anger issues.
The 49-year-old, who also works as a model, has been sent to jail four times for “missing court dates, violating probation and driving with a suspended licence,” claims Star magazine.
In 1990, he reportedly trashed an upscale Los Angeles hotel room during a drinking binge. Randall allegedly tore down the ceiling fan and ripped the drapes. He ended his adventure in hospital suffering from severe dehydration.
In 2012, a restraining order was granted against him after he smeared dog poo all over a neighbour’s front door. According to court documents, the trouble began when Randall confronted his neighbour about letting his dog poo in front of their building.
After their argument, Randall started sending his neighbour threatening messages. The neighbour allegedly was living in fear because, he claimed, Randall had “guns and a notoriously erratic temper”.
