Bryan Cranston, 58, is to produce the Broadway production Finding Neverland.

The actor, who is best known for his roles in the crime drama series Breaking Bad, the comedy series Malcolm in the Middle and the sitcom Seinfeld, has been brought in to produce the Harvey Weinstein-led stage show.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: “Rarely do celebrities invest in projects, so this is a big sign of (Bryan’s) faith in the show.”

Cranston won a Tony for Best Actor in 2014 as LBJ in the stage show All the Way, which Weinstein produced.

The actor was in London last week to meet with Take That star and composer, Gary Barlow, who previewed tunes from the much-anticipated show.
