Avicii, 25, has splashed out $350 000 (R4 million) to deal with a termite infestation in his $15.5m Hollywood Hills mansion.
The DJ forked out the sum after several hundred thousand insects caused serious damage to his pad, and he also requires new roofing, walls and decking in his property due to water damage.
Sources told TMZ that the musician has paid to convert his garage into a living space so he and his guests can enjoy some picturesque views of Hollywood.
But, Avicii’s builders have not proved too popular with Robin Thicke, who lives in the same area, as he has complained about the additional traffic jams caused by the construction workers’ vehicles.
