Double whammy awaits contestants

Yes, only three weeks from now and we will say goodbye to this year’s instalment of Big Brother.

Unbeknown to the contestants, the prize money has been doubled and two winners will walk away with it. Let it be put on record that I am placing a bet on who these winners will be.

Karen is an obvious choice. Despite from her eye-catching bust, there’s been no spark between her and the boys, so she is not really attached to anyone. This only means she gets to concentrate on the game more than anything else. Oh, also, she is Nigerian.

As much as it hurts me to admit this, our Luclay has also done well for himself. The girls on the continent, however, love him and though he can be a pain, he is a household name. Big Brother fans will agree his bad boy attitude is somewhat reminiscent of that exhibited by Munya Chidzonga from last season. Chidzonga came second, a dark horse if ever there was one.

TJOP OF THE WEEK

If Lomwe were to choose between Kim and Vina, he’d probably go with Kim. And Vina hates that. This explains why Vina has been indirectly attacking Kim over the silliest things. It is so sad to see a beautiful and bright woman use such underhanded tactics, just so that she can get the man she wants.

However, the usually sweet Kim is fighting back, and she’s using Vina’s strategy as well. Now Lomwe is caught in the middle.

MOEMISH

I have said it and will say it again, when it comes to violence, all parties involved should be sent off the show. Last year, during the Hannington-Lerato incident, a lot of complaints were made where people frowned upon Hannington punching Lerato. Not many folk wanted to talk about how Lerato had contributed to that alter-cation. The ruling was that she stay sober for the rest of the game, while Hannington went back home.

Recently, Lotus was sent home for slapping Luclay, but if you look at the incident closely, she gave in to his emotionally abusive taunts. Sadly for her, she, too, got the Big Brother boot.

Now Miss P is hatching a plan along those lines. Her fight with Alex was nothing more than a plan to get him booted out. He threw her clothes out and she started limping. Even the others laughed.

There has to be a rule that whoever is involved in an incident that incites violence, whether they throw a punch or not, should also be sent home. While punches hurt, so do some actions and words. Any form of abuse should be banned.

RATINGS WHORE

Weza is like that constant buzz you’d hear if you trapped a bee, or a fly, in a sealed bottle. She’s since adopted the Luclay style of talking where she just announces some-thing vague and does not direct it at anyone in particular.

Her latest rant was about how she would destroy anyone who got in the way of her strategy. Really, Weza, with what army? She even said it was best that she left on Sunday before she shows us her “unkind side”. Translated: Please keep me in the game, I am out of ideas on how to stay relevant.

HORMONAL SLAVES

Sleaze seems to be part of Millicent’s strategy . However, the eliminations have left less men around, meaning Millicent will have to make do with what is left.

The other day, in broad daylight, as she gave a shocking lap dance to a smiling Lomwe as the other female housemates looked on. There was pelvic swinging, rubbing and kiss teasers. All at 4pm! Guys, get a room. No, wait, they were in a room. Sigh, some mothers’ children.

DID YOU KNOW?

Karen put herself on the chopping block, saving Vimbai from eviction! See why I think this girl is going to win? Who does that? She explained that everyone in the house deserved a chance to win and she would not be the one to decide. What a heart.

This means the people up for eviction on Sunday are Alex (Ghana), Peo (Botswana), Sharon (Uganda), Weza (Angola), and Karen (nigeria).
