• True Crime with Aphrodite Jones, Discovery ID, 19.00

Crime reporter and author Aphrodite Jones visits the case of NFL superstar Steve McNair, found shot dead in his flat, with a woman lying dead at his feet. Also looked at is the disappearance of student Michelle Le.

• Royal Pains, M-Net, 19.30

While attempting to get back into his summer routine, Hank realises he’s not bouncing back as quickly as he’d like. Divya is still reeling from her life-changing news, and a doctor’s visit confirms that she is indeed pregnant. The gravity of the situation overwhelms her, and she snaps at Paige, her sole confidant in the matter.

A talk show that deals with real issues affecting real people. Every week, guests will interact with the audience, discussing topics ranging from lifestyle and health, to careers. Celebrities will also share the highs and lows of the entertainment industry.

• Andy Bates Brazilian Street Feasts, Travel Channel, 21.00

Andy Bates travels to Brazil, where he encounters all manner of food infusions and styles that he uses to influence his creations. Beginning in Rio, it’s all about the beach food. After sampling a Uruguayan meat feast sandwich, Rio’s first veggie burger and some Middle Eastern-flavoured snacks, Andy creates his own lamb dish. He hits Brazil’s second-largest festival in Parintins and tastes one of the most unusual street foods from Mingau, a porridge-like dish eaten to help line the festival goers’ stomachs!
