Maggie Gyllenhaal (The Dark Knight) and Bonnie Somerville (The Ugly Truth) star in this romantic drama about the evolution of rock and roll as experienced by a young couple in love during the 1950s. In the American South of 1955, a time of heady social and cultural change, Lyne Danner and Tyler Hart form their own band, The HartAches, and must face various challenges which threaten to tear them apart.

Maggie Gyllenhaal takes viewers back to the era of rock n roll in Shake, Rattle and Roll.
