l Tiger – Spy in the Jungle, BBC Knowledge, 22.00

This show follows the stages of a tiger’s life from playful cub to learning adolescent and ultimately young hunting adult. It also provides an insight into how the tiger’s relationship with the other jungle animals changes as they mature. Elephants become unlikely camera assistants, carrying cameras on their tusks and trunks, which means the tigers can be filmed wherever they go. The camera-carrying elephants uncover a wildlife world every bit as rich as that of Africa, encountering sloth bears and leopards, the tiger’s major competitor.

l The Late Show with David Letterman, Sony Entertainment Television, 23.15

Promoting his film The Campaign, Zach Galifianakis is the first guest. David probes him about working with co-star Will Ferrell and gets Zach to tell all. Dave then chats to former army sergeant, Valerie Brown. She talks about what it is like to work in a man’s world and discusses her ongoing job search. Musician Allen Stone closes off the show.
