She is brought back into active service when a terrorist – called “the Citizen” – threatens to bomb the Miss USA pageant and Hart is sent in undercover. Inspired by the discovery of a cache of long-lost ancient Roman artefacts, Pope Alexander VI throws a grand pagan-themed feast for the people of Rome. Meanwhile, Lucrezia tends to her new baby while her brothers Cesare and Juan find their mutual animosity spilling over into outright conflict, culminating in a heart-stopping bareback horse race. Alexander’s mistress, Giulia Farnese, learns the Pope has taken a new lover and turns to Vanozza for advice.

Top Gear’s Richard Hammond travels across the US for his ultimate motor challenge, seeking out and driving the country’s toughest and most extraordinary vehicles. Over the series, he trains with fire-fighters for his encounter with the supercharged Striker fire engine, learns to fire and manoeuvre the Abrams M1A1 tank, heads to logging country to master the tree-devouring, dangle head processor, and conquers specialist cranes on demolition sites and oil rig salvage barges. These powerful machines have specific jobs to do, and operating them is no mean feat.
