Set in England, in a house which is Tommy’s DIY academy, each episode sees two homeowners shown the DIY ropes. Full of tips, instructional animations and Tommy’s wisdom and bonhomie.

Equipped with three old British cars and a range of British products, they set off on a road trip across one of the world’s most fascinating and challenging countries, devotedly promoting Britain with distinctly mixed results.

Annie convinces Marla to attend a Hollywood premiere of one of Marla’s old films, while Ryan has an unexpected visitor. Teddy catches Marco in a lie and wonders if he is being cheated on. Naomi learns Max was accepted at a college in another state, while Silver has a breakdown after receiving some upsetting news that causes Navid and Dixon to stage an intervention.

l Way of Life, Discovery World, 21.05

This show explores some of the most exotic occupations where the jobs are a way of life. Jim Brasher ventures to Argentina, where he learns how to ride a horse and herd cattle. Risking life and limb, he treks 400km with the Tuareg salt caravans, across the Sahara desert. Next he heads to Northern Luzon, where he learnsthe spiritual importance of the rice trade to the Ifuago people. In India’s Kolkata, his stamina is tested while working as a rickshaw puller. And he explores the bond between man and elephant as he becomes a mahout with the Karen of Asia.
