Stripped Down, Channel O, 17.00

The channel documents the development of songwriting and performance in Africa and this show sees African artists record their music, acoustic style, to deliver stripped- down versions of their hits. Tonight, Bucie performs her hits including Superman and Get Over It. She also covers some of her favourite artists, all while giving the viewers insight into her mind.

With news of a cabinet reshuffle, Bheka decides to tender to be the president’s best friend. A guy tries to court Simi, but instead Simi ropes him into his “I’m Always Mistaken for Being Gay” support group.

 

Fighting on the Frontline, BBC Knowledge, 21.00

This show follows British troops who are on tour in Afghanistan, including infantry, helicopter crews and Warthog tank crews. Tonight looks at the helicopter crews working in the warzones of Helmand Province as Apaches launch attacks on Taliban forces from the air, while Chinooks embark on medical rescue missions to help those who have been injured by improvised explosive devices.

Fed up with his stepsons’ excessive lifestyles and unemployed status, David decides to teach them the value of a dollar by charging them rent, cutting off their credit cards and blocking their expense accounts.
