Eliza Dooley has 263 000 followers who hang on to her every post, Tweet and selfie. But one lonely day she has a revelation: being friended is not the same as having actual friends. She asks her co-worker marketing guru, Henry, to “rebrand” her self-obsessed reputation and teach her how to connect.

This episode explores whether mandatory sentencing can be effective or just, especially given the current US climate that preaches reform. In Florida, the unintended consequences of mandatory minimum gun laws seem to outweigh its merits as a father is sent to prison for 20 years for “defending his family.” While in Illinois, politicians carefully craft a tough-on-crime bill inspired by the death of a promising student that may offer relief to a community plagued by escalating gun violence.

While escorting an undercover moving van transporting drugs that are considered DEA evidence, Danny and Maria’s vehicle is rammed, injuring Maria while the van is stolen. As she and Danny try to uncover a DEA mole, Maria finds out that her brother is involved with the drug cartel.

Each episode starts with a mystery, from planes with a mind of their own to pilots apparently going crazy, and takes viewers on a journey through other crashes and near-misses that enable investigators to explain what has happened, and how to prevent it from happening again. Interviews with passengers, pilots and investigators and dramatic recreations put viewers right in the cockpit as events unfold.
