Kyle hosts a lunch for new friends, Joyce and Carlton, but the meal goes awry when Kyle encourages the killing of a bee, offending nature-loving Carlton.

This season opens with the shocking murder of DI Richard Poole, an event that heralds the arrival of DI Humphrey Goodman. Humphrey’s bumbling ways mean he doesn’t make the greatest first impression on Camille, Fidel and Dwayne, who are battling their grief for their friend as well trying to catch his killer. All dishevelled British charm, but with a razor-sharp insight into crime solving, can Humphrey win the team round and prove he’s the man for the job?

The executive director of Food Banks Canada helps out in the soup kitchens to see how she can best support the company’s 800 facilities. Also, the president of Pizza Nova goes undercover find out how the business can improve during a period of expansion.

In the finale, Hank and Levon reconnect with Hank’s old student, Tara. Hank manages to reassure Julia over a special dinner, urge Charlie to save Marcy, plus, make a life-altering decision.
