This reality show from executive producer Ellen DeGeneres sees six furniture designers showcase their ability to sketch, design and build unique furniture within 24 hours, for the ultimate prize of $100 000.

An investigative drama about Dr Temperance Brennan, a highly skilled forensic anthropologist who works with FBI Agent Seeley Booth to assist on murder investigations when the standard methods of identifying a body are useless. Brennan’s special expertise lies in her uncanny ability to read clues left behind in the victim’s bones. The series is inspired by real-life forensic anthropologist and best-selling novelist, Kathy Reichs.

ESCAPE TO THE COUNTRY, The Home Channel, 8pm

Sets out to find the perfect country house for families who are seeking to get away from city living. This week, Denise Nurse looks back at some of the best Victorian properties featured in past programmes. She tours the Osbourne House, Queen Victoria’s own escape to the country on the Isle of Wight. Also, she visits a restorer of Victorian fireplaces.
