• Michael Jackson Special, Channel O, 12.00

On the fifth anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death, Channel O pays tribute to the King of Pop with a slate of shows. First up is a countdown of MJ’s biggest hits. At 5pm, more hits from the man who remains one of the biggest stars on the planet as the album Xscape, released last month, proved. Then a showcase of the songs that helped Jackson set record after record, including the accolade for the Thriller album for selling more than 100 million copies worldwide.

• Modern Family, M-Net, 19.30

The adults are Vegas-bound when Jay hooks them up with “excelsior level” hotel accommodation courtesy of one of his big clients. But after learning there’s an even higher level, Jay becomes obsessed with upgrading. Meanwhile, Claire secretly hits the tables to win back money she lost years ago. Phil auditions for a secret society of magicians and Cam ducks out of a spa day to join a friend’s bachelor party shenanigans.

• The Carrie Diaries, Vuzu, 20.30

When Dorrit goes missing under Carrie’s watch, Carrie lashes out at Sebastian, the one person who can help her find Dorrit. Mouse butts heads with West, a popular jock who, much to her chagrin, stole her spot as No 1 in the class.

• Mob Wives Chicago, Vuzu, 21.30

All the women gather for Leah’s mother breast cancer walk. When Leah requests they stay together, Pia and Renee create tension by distancing themselves from the group. Nora gets closer to finding closure with her father’s death. Renee and Dave have one last attempt at their relationship.
