Three of South Africa’s most gifted rappers step into the spotlight. This programme mixes up music, fatherhood and manhood in one compelling offering by taking viewers into the lives of Ma-E, Reason and L-Tido.

MY 600LB LIFE, TLC Entertainment, 8pm

This new series follows the lives of eight people, each weighing more than 270kg, through a year-long journey as they collectively try to lose those kilos. Each episode will tell the powerful story of a different individual who has made the decision to undergo a dangerous gastric bypass surgery in an effort to save their life and change their world for ever. In this series, follow the trials and tribulations of Amber, Susan, Pauline, Bettie Jo and four others dangerously close to death because of their extreme obesity.

A coming-of-age story set in the heart of Joburg’s hottest urban neighbourhood and driven by a propulsive creative energy that marks it out as unmistakably contemporary. This series follows the lives, loves, heartache, fears and dreams of three friends – JK, Neo and Lebo – who share a loft apartment in Maboneng and all work as rock star creative’s at a hotshot Sandton advertising agency. Over the course of this original show, the trio move between the advertising agency world – first at KT&T and then at newcomer upstart agency aYeYe – and the apartments, streets, rooftops and clubs of the inner-city neighbourhood that they call home.
