Christina Aguilera reunites with fellow judges Blake Shelton, Pharrell Williams and Adam Levine for another season of this singing competition.

MOM, M-Net City, 7.30pm

Actress Allison Janey and Anna Faris are the mother and daughter duo in this comedy. Christy is a newly-sober single mom, struggling to raise her kids in a world full of temptations. It’s too bad that one of those evils is her own mother, a recovering alcoholic and good reminder of all the things wrong with Christy’s life. In season two, Bonnie and Christy support Violet as she receives updates on her adopted baby, but it’s not long before mother and daughter are at each other’s throats.

COMEDY CENTRAL PRESENTS BASKETMOUTH LIVE AT PARKERS, Comedy Central, 9.10pm

Nigeria’s biggest comedians are staging a takeover of Comedy Central’s regular stand-up fixture. The third show sees Basketmouth at the helm and countrymen Buchi and Bovi as support. Basketmouth started comedy in 1990. He is a Nigerian comedian and actor from Abia State who has organised popular stand-up comedy concerts like Basketmouth Uncensored across the globe. In 2010, Basketmouth became the first African comedian to host a comedy show, Lord of the Rib, at the 02 Arena in London. TV success followed when Basketmouth hosted The Big Friday Show, helping make it one of the biggest TV shows in Nigeria.

THE FROZEN GROUND, M-Net, 11.30pm

Nicolas Cage stars in this drama set against the backdrop of Alaska. A State Trooper and a woman work together to bring a killer to justice.
