STEPPING away from the shadow of an emotionally-conflicted Rebecca Harper – and her daddy issues – in Brothers & Sisters, Emily VanCamp has really sunk those gorgeous stilettos into the role of affluent new Hamptons resident Emily Thorne (aka Amanda Clarke).

But there is more to the gorgeous blonde and the new neighbour of the revered Grayson family and its powerful matriarch, Victoria (Madeleine Stowe).

Behind that disarming smile and sophistication, Emily harbours a deep secret and a hatred of the Graysons for turning her father into one of America’s most hated men, by framing him for something he didn’t do. And, worst of all, the woman he loved – Victoria – betrayed him.

Thankfully, she has the wealthy computer genius Nolan Ross, who is indebted to her father, at her disposal.

Revenge is a thrilling drama laden with exciting twists and dangerous characters. Each character is beautifully etched and the face-offs between Victoria and Emily executed with prowess.

And TV buffs can’t help but revel in the high-tea affairs and soirees of the elite as secret affairs, mudslinging, buried evidence, backstabbing and sweet revenge are served at the Hamptons.
