London - Kit Harington thinks being in 'Game of Thrones' can be a "curse".

The 27-year-old actor portrays Jon Snow in the fantasy drama series and though he insists he "loves" working on the show, he is worried the role will haunt him forever.

He said: "'Game Of Thrones' is my life, it's my day job, I love it,' he said, adding, 'But honestly, if there is a curse of Thrones, it's a lifetime of having to talk about it."

Kit landed the role shortly after leaving drama school and he admits he would be "foolish" to wish things had happened differently.

He said: "It would be foolish to say I wish I'd gone through a period of longing. Because any actors going through a period of longing themselves would tear my f***ing face off."

The hunky star is forbidden from cutting his long curly locks between filming the show, and as a result he gets recognised a lot more than his co-stars.

He said: "I'm more recognisable in public than much better-known actors. So many people watch, and I go around looking like my character."

Since starring in 'Game of Thrones', Kit has gone on to land a number of movie roles in the likes of 'Pompeii', 'Testament of Youth' and 'Seventh Son' but he hasn't been very happy with all his work.

He admitted to the new issue of Britain's GQ magazine: "I won't name names and I won't name films but I've sat through private screenings, nearly in tears. Hating it. Thinking; this is the end, everything's over." - BANG Showbiz
