The fewer housemates there are, the more interesting Big Brother gets. There are a lot of new relationships that result from the evictions of some housemates. There is also some emnity as people start revealing their true colours. It’s about time! Vina, who was head of the house this time around, saved herself from possible eviction by nominating Felicia. The other people on the chopping block this week are Lomwe, Wendall, Hanni, Vimbai, Sharoon and Zeus. So, pretty much everyone, bar Vina, could get booted out. We leave that chapter to unfold next Sunday as we look at what happened this past week.
TJOP/YAWN OF THE WEEK
Eish, Luclay and his crying. For a dude with a macho image, his penchant for turning on the waterworks is disturbing. Weza told him she loves him so, naturally, Luclay cried. Who does that? Obviously he has lost his girl back home, but he’s just scored another, so why the tears? Women may claim they like sensitive guys, but Luclay is surely taking things too far. If I had a brick for everytime he cried, I’d have built a pyramid by now. Shame.
MOEMISH
Kim nominated Nic, yet cried like a baby when he was evicted. Please! That’s what happens when you play a game without a strategy. She was all cuddly with Nic for a few weeks, then obviously suffered a short-term memory loss and got him booted off the show. Guess what, Kim? The dude is gone and now you have to decide on who will be next.
RATINGS WHORE
Luclay is right when he says he knows how to play this game. His rants make for good TV. His ego, however, is probably his biggest weakness. Luclay only says he is the greatest because he knows he is not. Morgan Freeman once said how pathetic it was for someone to dwell in self-praise because that was a sign that no one believed they were great at what they claimed to be. Luclay clearly didn’t get that script.
HORMONAL SLAVES
So, now that Vimbai is not available, Vina has taken it upon herself to pounce on hunk of the house, Lomwe. He is milking it for all it’s worth, rarely letting the ladies in on how he feels. I’m sure any man can understand his predicament – with all those women at his beck and call (especially if Zeus is eliminated), he can’t make up his mind. Vina, however, isn’t playing a long-term game. That’s why she’s trying to stake her claim, climbing into his bed in full view of everyone. Way to go, Vina. Maybe you can take the horse to water and make it drink after all.
