He’s about to tickle your funny bone with a new show titled Nationwild, but if you’d like to brush up on your Trevor Noah before that, your best bet would be to stay at home.

Tomorrow, on the BBC Entertainment Channel on DStv, series nine of Live at the Apollo will feature our very own, homegrown, comedian rubbing shoulders with the best in the business.

The show was recorded live at the world famous Hammersmith Apollo. Each episode features a stand-up comedy legend acting as compere, who will introduce two of the hottest comedy acts around. For this first episode of the ninth season, Eddie Izzard plays host, giving Noah and another comedian named Josh Widdicombe their chance to shine.

Live at the Apollo airs this Tuesday at 21:35.
