International Jewish music star, Yaakov Shwekey, is returning to SA in August.

One year ago, the young man with the silky voice that has enraptured the Jewish world, took South Africa by storm. Tickets were snapped up so quickly they had to put on a second show!

This year, Shwekey 2 is being billed as bigger and better and features a full 22-piece orchestra which includes five top musicians from Israel who are intimately familiar with his music.

Local luminary Bryan Schimmel is again the music co-ordinator and will play the keyboard.

Yochi Briskman, Shwekey’s musical director, is coming from New York to conduct the orchestra and will be on the drums.

A graphics designer is being flown in from Israel to provide the images on the big screen that will accompany the singer.

The programme will be signi- ficantly different from last year, as Shwekey has released a new album, Cry No More, since then.

lThere will be two shows at The Teatro at Montecasino in Joburg tonight and tomorrow (the shows start at 8pm) and in Cape Town on Thursday at the CTICC. Bookings at Computicket.
