Gauteng Opera is looking for a part time chorus master for their 2015 opera and concert season. Candidates must have prior experience with choral conducting and be able to play the piano (background in Opera and/or classical music will be advantageous). The successful candidate will have to be able to - Plan and execute rehearsal schedules for the chorus; prepare the chorus musically, vocally and be able to interpret the scores; be available for evening and weekend rehearsals when needed; be present all all performances of the chorus.
