CATALINA THEATRE: For Better or Worse stages until Sunday. This Dingalings production centres on three generations of Indian women whose lives are intertwined by their marriages to three brothers. They are thrust together over a weekend when their husbands go on a fishing trip. What transpires threatens their relationships and marriages. THE PLAYHOUSE: Classic ballet masterpieces performed to music by top French composers is what audiences will experience when the Crown of the Russian Ballet perform on May 20 and 21 at 7.30pm. The rags-to-riches story of everybody’s favourite orphan, Annie, features Lisa Bobbert as the hilariously villainous Miss Hannigan, Steven Stead as Miss Hannigan’s wicked brother, Daniel “Rooster” Hannigan; Iain “Ewok” Robinson as billionaire Daddy Warbucks; Jessica Sole as Grace Farrel, Daddy Warbucks’s secretary; and Belinda Henwood as Lily St Regis, Rooster’s rather trashy girlfriend.
