DISNEY ON STAGE:

Jonathan Roxmouth debuts this show with a selection of songs from the new era of Disney stage musicals. He has amassed material from such traditional Disney scores as Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and The Little Mermaid while also paying attention to the more recent productions of Mary Poppins, Newsies and The Hunchback of Notre Dame and others. PENELOPE PIXIE’S BIRTHDAY ADVENTURE:

The Actors Unemployed Company returns to the Rhumbelow Theatre with a new show for the family. It’s Penelope Pixie’s birthday and she wants to go on an adventure! Along with her best friend, Gary the Goblin, who knows what she’ll encounter when she travels up Magic Mountain. Especially once they meet Barry Boulderfist! Performed by Marc Kay, Sarah Richard and Rowan Bartlett, this is a new play filled with song, dance, comedy, action and excitement. Directed by Bryan Hiles, and with original music written by Dale Scheepers.

Essenwood Craft Market will, over the Easter period, host Easter egg hunts and Easter-themed participative events. Beacon Africa’s Largest Easter Egg Hunt:

On April 4 and 5, Beacon’s Africa’s largest Easter egg hunt takes place at uShaka Marine World. About 100 000 Beacon marshmallow eggs will be hidden around the theme park. The adventure expedition will also include the opportunity to view penguin eggs and shark eggs which will amaze. There are also fun activities planned in the aquarium and uShaka Kids World. On both days, the hunt begins bright and early at 7am and ends at 8.30am, just in time to make your way to the special Easter Dolphin Show which starts at 9am.
