US band The Ghost Inside will be playing live at Revolution Skatepark tonight.

The band, which is on a nationwide tour, will be playing alongside South Africa’s top hardcore and metal bands, Truth and it’s Burden, Facing the Gallows and The Dead Will Tell.

The band was born in 2007 in Los Angeles and is made up of Jonathan Vigil (lead vocalist), Aaron Brooks (lead guitarist), Zach Johnson (rhythm guitarist), Andrew Tkaczyk (drums) and Jim Riley (bass).

Their latest album Returners has seen them tour south-east Asia, Australia and New Zealand. In the US the group has toured with bands such as I Killed the Prom Queen, Stick to Your Guns, Deez Nuts and Parkway Drive.

Their high energy sets and intense live performances have earned the band a reputation as being one of the greatest hardcore performers around.

Their long-term goal is to continue to dish out new and fresh music.

After Durban their tour moves to Port Elizabeth tomorrow, then Cape Town on Sunday.

So, pick a city and let the ghost inside take you down a hardcore musical journey.
