• Un-mute runs from August 18-27 at the Theatre Arts Admin Collective. Motivated by the isolation that people with disability experience, Un-mute is a way of deaf dancer Andile Vellem, finding his voice as a choreographer, using sign language as the source of his movement vocabulary. 7pm. • Vaslav runs from August 22-23 at The Kalk Bay Theatre. Directed by Lara Bye, Vaslav celebrates the life and madness of legendary Russian Ballet dancer Vaslav Nijinsky, blending together an intoxicating combination of original and period music, with movement and video. 8pm. • ComArt Showcase on August 24 at the Artscape Theatre. A celebration of the Elsies River-based organisation, ComArt, and the work of Professor Virginia and John Davids in providing access to arts training and resources to promote community growth, development and nation building.
