Bobbi Kristina Brown was reportedly using drugs just hours after her mother Whitney had been laid to rest.
According to the Daily Mail, the 18-year-old slipped away from her family and friends and was found doing drugs.
The teenager, who was hospitalised following her mother’s tragic death, caused panic in the Houston household when she could not be found. Calls to her cellphone went unanswered.
“Everyone was freaking out and calling Bobbi Kristina's cell,” said a family friend.
“It was so much commotion and activity after the funeral that Bobbi Kristina just slipped away. Ms Cissy [Houston] was beside herself.”
Bobbi Kristina was also found “getting high” shortly after she heard that her mother had passed away. It is alleged that there were conflicts between family members over whether she should be left to mourn her loss with the family, or be taken to rehab straight away. Having grown up watching her mother do drugs, the Houston family is concerned that the teen will follow in her Whitney’s footsteps.
“It's a horrible situation for everybody,” the family friend said. “They tried to save Whitney, and it didn't work. Now with Bobbi Kristina, they fear the same thing is happening again and they wont' be able to stop it either.
“Bobbi Kristina is all Ms Cissy has left of Whitney. She's so tired, but she's ready to fight again to save her grandbaby.”
Though Cissy Houston was keeping a close eye on her grand-daughter during the funeral, Bobbi Kristina was devastated when her father Bobby Brown stormed out of the ceremony. The R&B star and his entourage of nine people left the church after, he claimed, security had asked him to move on three occasions.
“That was just too much for Bobbi Kristina to handle,” the source added.
“All that drama, and Cissy finally asked him to come in and stay, but Bobby wouldn't.
“Cissy only did that to help Bobbi Kristina, because Cissy cannot stand Bobby.
“She just didn't want a big drama with him on that day of all days.”
Bobbi Kristina is apparently still coming to terms with her parents’ divorce in 2007, and is also upset that Bobby Brown has moved on so quickly.
The ‘My Prerogative’ star is engaged to Alicia Etheredge and has a two-year-old child with her.
The family spokesperson for the Houstons would only say that Bobbi Kristina needed time alone.

So what???? She is grieving for her mother and wanted to be alone..doesnt mean she got high!Hope some of you negative idiots commenting here today realise that she may not even be on drugs and the media's just trying to make money.Grow up!

The press needs to get a life and move on to the next celebrity. This family has endured enough pain and heartache to last a lifetime. Everyone has addictions and obstacles in life. Some of you need to stop your holy roller routines. Women have a harder time with addictions than men do. That is a fact. I don't fault whitney or her family. They are not trash either, because you have substance abuse issues doesn't make you less human. It makes you more fragile than others. Something was eating up whitney houston, that she numbed out with drugs in the past. I have 3 people in my own family who did crack cocaine. We have tried to save them, but that is a really addictive drug. I will always love whitney houston, because she was a great singer. Not for her insecurities.

This is the reason why Whitney should have never started doing Drugs. She wanted a Child so badly , God gave her a Beautiful Daughter and it was not enough to stay away from Drugs. Bobbi Kristina needs help . real help because both of her Parents did Drugs in front of her and around her . It will be a tough Journey but one can only hope that she will at least give it a try. Yes she is in a lot of pain right now because she just lost her Mom and best Friend but drugs will only end up hurting her more .

Irresponsible article as is the norm. Could you be any more vague then "doing drugs". Newsflash, drugs are not a generic amorphous substance. Some, like heroin are lethal killers. It looks as if preion drugs may have been the cause in Whitney's case. Whilst other substances, like Marijuana and Ecstacy are relatively benign. I wish journalists would be less disingenuous with their reporting!
