Shay Mitchell, the sexy Emily Fields in Freeform’s hit show Pretty Little Liars is currently in Cape Town after sizzling the streets of Rwanda last week. The 29-year-old was last seen in South Africa in 2015. While it seems like her holiday to Africa is for work as she struts around national parks and famous city attractions for photo shoots, she is also taking in some sights. These are some of her memorable holiday snaps:
Look 1: Bo Kaap
Mitchell stuns in this white vest and printed boho pants, matched with gladiator heels and a beige sling bag. She is pictured in Bo Kaap, an area of Cape Town, formerly known as the Malay Quarter. It is a former township, situated on the slopes of Signal Hill above the city centre and is an historical centre of Cape Malay culture in Cape Town. On Instagram, she posted: “ Not the cleanest spot to sit and I do love these pants- but after walking for as long as we had, I would have sat anywhere.”
Look 2: Akagera National Park. Rwanda
This sexy shot of Mitchell showcases her tall slender legs and figure. She is wearing a printed layer peplum dress that she matched with a bamboo bag and a pair of heels. She was photographed at the Akagera National Park in Rwanda, a park that covers 1,200 km² in eastern Rwanda, along the Tanzanian border. It was founded in 1934 to protect animals and vegetation in three ecoregions: savannah, mountain and swamp.
Look 3: Somewhere in Africa
Within minutes of posting this picture, Mitchell received thousands of likes. She wore an African printed t-shirt dress with the words Los Angeles across it. She captioned the photo: “LA x Africa” Her bright yellow nails and silver choker completes the look.
Look 4: Rwanda
The colour that escapes a picture of Mitchell’s feet in a traditional Rwandan outfit and sandals showcases the diversity of the country. Mitchell wears the beaded sandals with pride as she embraces their history. Rwanda is a landlocked East African country known for its green, mountainous landscape.
Look 5: One and Only, Cape Town
The Pretty Little Liars actress shows off her playful side, and lets out her inner animal with this picture taken at the One and Only Hotel in Cape Town. She is staying at the hotel for the duration of her Cape Town trip. She is seen wearing a matching leggings and jumper with animal prints. Her look is complete with white sneakers and Quay Australia shades. In another photograph at the hotel, she is seen taking a shower with the caption: “Not a bad way to freshen up after 12 hrs of travel from Rwanda to Cape Town ... @OOCapeTown, @OOResorts #oocapetown #ooresorts”
