Reigning from the Robertson Wine Valley, Rialheim produces handcrafted ceramic products and has partnered with Sanlam Top Destination Awards 2017 to create and incorporate sophisticated décor for each table at the awards ceremony. The event takes place on Thursday, 14 September at Kelvin Grove Club, in Rondebosch.

Getting extensively involved, the trophies for each winner will also be designed and made by Rialheim bringing in the theme Authentically African #MyHeartBeatsAfrica. The centre pieces will be specifically and uniquely designed for the awards by Rial Visagie, Founder and Creative Director of Rialheim himself. Furthermore, one winner of this year’s Sanlam Top Destination Awards will also stand the chance of winning a Rialheim room makeover valued at R10 000! The suite will receive a facelift integrating the handcrafted ceramic décor by Rialheim.

“We’ve strategically partnered with brands that share our vision and are willing to go above and beyond for the cause,” explains Jonathan Pepler, Founder of Sanlam Top Destination Awards. “Rialheim is one of those brands and is adding such incredible value to the awards ceremony this year. They will have a strong brand presence which will no doubt enhance the atmosphere as well as create additional elements for guests to look forward to.”

Each guest can also expect to receive a special ceramic gift from Rialheim at the awards ceremony, similar to the previous year, but with a thematic twist. Each ceramic product is handmade with quality African clay, bringing earth, water and fire together as each one tells a different story and is inspired by heritage, current trends and even feel-good, quirky pieces. The ceramic farm is found at Clairvaux, in Robertson and has a rich history of its own dating back through the family. Having been lost for a couple of years, Rial reclaimed his family’s vision and has renovated the farm into what it is today.

“The hospitality industry is not for the feint hearted and I believe that the Sanlam Top Destination Awards should be commended for celebrating the pioneers in this industry, those with the bravery to follow their dreams, shine bright and excel at a level of excellence,” Rial adds.
