The good news for Capetonians is that there are many great family friendly destinations and activities available  on your doorstep  that are well worth visiting over the holidays – so why not take a road trip and go exploring. You can take a day excursion or plan to stay longer.

Go road-tripping – take a “West Coast Twist”

A unique new road trip, called the Roadtrip With The Most Twists has been launched by West Coast Way which showcases the many exciting, fun and educational destinations and activities on the Cape West Coast and its immediate surrounds.

The “twists”, or loops, on this road trip each feature their own variety of carefully chosen attractions, which fall within themed routes: included is the West Coast Way Scenic Route, the West Coast Way Berg Route, the West Coast Way Foodie Route, the West Coast Way Cultural Route – as well as the newly launched West Coast Way Wild Route.

Visitors can choose as many or as few of these twists as they want, and can mix and match the stops along the various different routes – tailor making a road trip (or “West Coast Twist’) that perfectly suites ones time constraints, budgets, interests etc.
