One of the highlights of the trip this far has been Siba winning two awards for her cookbook My Table and for her television show in the women category. The book is said to be highest selling book in one of the local retailers. In her caption on Instagram, Siba thanked her local fans that have bought the book exclaiming: " Mzansi, We did it!"

The book was published by her company The Siba Co, Mtongana's company.    The Gourmand World Cookbook Awards, where she won the award is considered  the 'Oscars' of the food industry. They are held every year in a special location and offer chefs and authors a chance to met and network. Photo: SibaMtongana/Instagram

And what would a trip with the culinary queen be without a bit of food to showcase the local culture?
