Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve & Wellness Retreat in the Cederberg has been voted one of the “Best Hotels for Food in Africa, Middle East and the Indian Ocean” on the Condé Nast Traveller UK Gold List 2011 for the second year running.

Bushmans Kloof has also been honoured by readers of sister magazine Condé Nast Traveler USA as one of “the best places in the world to stay” on the Condé Nast Traveler’s Gold List for 2011.

The reserve shares this honour with four other Red Carnation Hotel Collection properties across the globe: The Milestone Hotel, 41, and Egerton House Hotel in London; and The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa in Cape Town.

Said Bushmans Kloof general manager Graham Kennedy: “Being voted onto the coveted Condé Nast Traveller UK Gold List for two years in a row is an extraordinary commendation for the culinary offering at Bushmans Kloof and a feather in the cap of executive chef Floris Smith and his team. Creating memorable moments for our guests is at the heart of the Red Carnation Hotels’ service credo, with a welcoming ‘home-from-home’ atmosphere, and a world-class culinary adventure that is an integral part of the holistic guest experience.”

Bushmans Kloof has received top scores in the Diners Club International Wine List of the Year Awards for six consecutive years.
