The Northern Cape Tourism and Eastern Cape Tourism signed a memorandum of understanding at Indaba 2017 today (Wednesday).

The two cities that are quite close to each other on the South African map decided to forge partnerships last year to boost tourism in their respective countries.

The CEO of Northern Cape Tourism, Sharron Lewis, said it was very important to collaborate with respective South African cities to keep tourists longer in the country.

“We are excited with the partnership. We will be utilising the best of what we both have and promote it to our visitors,”said Lewis.
