March 25, 2013: Depart Durban

Welcome aboard the MSC Sinfonia in the Port of Durban. Make sure you are on deck at 2pm for the sail away party as it casts off, en route to the first stop, the tropical island of Anakao.

March 27– Anakao, Madagascar

As soon as the ship has been cleared, general disembarkation will commence for your fun-filled day at this exciting new island destination. Take in the great beaches, hundreds of fishing dhows in full sail and a village lifestyle that hasn’t changed much in generations.

March 29 – Maputo

Maputo is the sprawling capital of Mozambique. There are some excellent restaurants where you can enjoy cold beers and spicy peri-peri LM prawns. Optional tours to the museums and the city, including lunch at the original Casa del Sol restaurant, will be available to purchase on board.

March 30 – Portuguese Island

As soon as the ship has been cleared, general disembarkation will commence for your fun-filled “expedition” day on the beaches of Portuguese Island. With its new restaurant now complete, the island bar, shade ports where you can spread out your towel, a jungle gym for the kids and an exclusive beach club where, for a small cost, you can relax under your own umbrella, makes the day a pleasure.

April 1– Return to Durban
