Plush and playful, the legendary, luxurious Grand Daddy Hotel in Long Street, Cape Town’s vibrant hub and party capital, is an award-winning creative project that mirrors the talent, style and flavour that the Mother City has to offer.

The ‘Daddy’, as it’s affectionately known, is famous for its Airstream Rooftop Trailer Park, Pink Flamingo open-air cinema, and multi-genre live music – all novel adventures on the hotel’s roof overlooking the city.

The Daddy likes to take things up a notch and this month is no exception. With a regular line-up of popular and classic films, the Pink Flamingo is a must-see. This month’s screenings include: Ghost (July 2); Calendar Girls (July 16); and Top Gun (July 30).

Part drive-in, part social event, set in the world’s only rooftop trailer park hotel, the Pink Flamingo celebrates the stars of the silver screen in a magical setting beneath the Cape’s clear night sky.

‘Flamigoers’ can choose from different ticket options. Stay old school and for R60 per person you’ll enjoy the movie, a welcome drink, popcorn and a bag of old-fashioned sweets.

Choose the Gourmet Foodie option for R150 per person sharing, and get stuck into a picnic basket filled with delectable delights.

South Africa’s only rooftop cinema is also available for exclusive bookings and perfect for any special occasion.

For all reservations enquiries or more information on the Pink Flamingo, please contact the reservations team by telephone on +27 (0) 21 424 7247 or by email on reservations@granddaddy.co.za or visit the website on www.granddaddy.co.za.
