Durban - There will be no free flights from Joburg to Durban for international travellers.

SAA spokesman Tlali Tlali set the record straight after a media report earlier this week which said international travellers booking SAA flights to Durban would no longer have to pay for the domestic leg.

“There will be no free tickets, only best fares as per our pricing strategy,” he said.

Tlali said SAA had held a meeting with Tourism KwaZulu-Natal “and the purpose was to develop partnerships for promotion of South Africa and KwaZulu-Natal in particular”.

But, he said, there had been no agreement on free tickets. – Mercury Reporter
