London - Nearly half of young adults jet off on holiday more than their parents, according to a survey.
In addition to family getaways, many of those aged 16-21 enjoy trips with friends, meaning they are more well-travelled than their parents.
Most parents look forward to family time on holiday, but 77 percent of the 1 000 polled by Cruise Lines International Association believe the children join them only if it is free.
CLIA’s Andy Harmer said: “The family holiday is in flux. No longer is there an age when parents ‘loose the kids’.”
