It's a funny word 'craic'. It sounds just like crack and rhymes with back - which is just what you'll want to do once you've taken the plunge and made your first visit to Ireland - you'll want to go back for the craic.

Craic is not that easy to put your finger on. The dictionary defines 'craic' as news, gossip, fun, entertainment and enjoyable conversation and it is absolutely definitive of Irish culture.

Craic is a Gaelic word, with no exact English translation, the closest you get is “fun” which is exactly what you'll have when you visit the land of shamrocks, leprechauns and Guinness.

With stunning scenery, traditional music that will get your toes tapping, ancient monuments, vibrant towns and some of the most amazing festivals on the planet Ireland has a truckload of experiences on offer. And all accommodation on these trips is included.

So get craic-ing and make plans to visit the Emerald Isle. Shamrocker Adventures has two three-day trips that are priced at under R3 500 per person sharing (the Western or Southern Rocker) which include accommodation with breakfast, sightseeing, your fan-fecking-tastic guide and private transport. . Ireland is a visa-free destination for South Africans (depending on your flight routing) so this is also a great savings.

If you'd like to spend more time exploring the Irish Craic then opt for the five-day Celtic Rocker which is priced from R6560 per person sharing or the All Ireland Rocker from R8620 per person sharing (please not however the All Ireland Rocker travels up into Northern Ireland and you will need a visa for this). These trips travel between April and October.

Take 10 percent off any of these trips if you book and pay before March 14, 2016.
