Holdings has appointed Nicholas de Canha the chief executive of Renault South Africa effective from November 1 this year. Imperial has a controlling 60 percent stake in Renault South Africa with Renault owning the remaining 40 percent stake. The appointment of De Canha, who is currently the chief executive of Imperial Fleet Management and an executive committee member of the Imperial Retail, Rental and Aftermarket Parts division since October 2010, follows the appointment of the current Renault South Africa chief executive, Niall Lynch, as the chief executive of Hyundai South Africa effective from July 1, 2016. – Roy Cokayne
