Johannesburg - South Africans must be encouraged to buy local products, Trade and Industry Minister Rob Davies said on Tuesday.

“It's significant in terms of job creation, revenue and service delivery,” he said at the launch of the 'Buy SA Back' campaign in Sandton, Johannesburg.

“We are running with the initial phase (of the campaign) before the festive season, because it is important to buy local.”

Davies said buyer behaviour needed to be changed.
