Johannesburg - Delta Africa Property Holdings plans to further expand into Africa and is considering buying two properties in Mozambique and one in Zambia worth up to $124 million, it said on Friday.

“With a view to expanding its presence on the African continent (outside South Africa), Delta Africa aims to grow its existing portfolio by acquiring properties that enjoy quality leases with strong counterparties in US Dollar based economies,” the company said in a statement.

The two properties in Mozambique are valued at $30-35 million and $7-9 million, while the Zambian property is worth $70-80 million.

Delta recently bought Kafubu Mall and Mukuba Mall in Zambia, Barclays House in Mauritius, Naivasha property in Kenya and the Wings property in Nigeria.

The planned acquisitions have not yet been agreed and Delta advised its shareholders to trade its stock cautiously.
