Hundreds of unemployed young people in Pretoria could score jobs as the Tshwane municipality moots the expansion of the Eco-Furniture Factory in Ga-Rankuwa. On Friday, Tshwane mayor Kgosientso Ramokgopa and environmental affairs minister Edna Molewa toured the factory which employs hundreds of young people.

“There is now a need for expansion. They factory cannot meet demand. We are going to have a discussion with the North West Development Corporation (a partner in the factory) so that we can expand it further. In that way we create new job opportunities and accelerate the delivery of school desks.” – ANA
