Johannesburg-listed shares of Lonmin fall more than 1.6 percent to 94 rand after two security guards killed at South African mine operated by the world's number three platinum producer following clashes between rival unions.

The company, which is also listed in London, has said the Western Platinum operation had not been shut but was working at reduced capacity because many of the workers were afraid to report for duty. - Reuters
