Johannesburg – The MTN group announced on Monday it had appointed an independent non-executive director with effect from July 2015.
Dr Shaygan Kheradpir started his career at GTE, which later became Verizon Communication, where he served for more than a decade in key executive roles.
In 2011, Kheradpir joined Barclays Bank PLC in the United Kingdom and served as technology officer on its executive committee.
